Epic, this is.

American TV show “The Big Bang Theory” is set to shoot a special episode with the theme of Star Wars, and the sitcom has collaborated with Lucasfilm for its production.

The Proton Transmogrification

The episode, titled “The Proton Transmogrification,” would follow the celebrations of the nerdy cast of the show in their celebration of Star Wars Day.

Lucasfilm helped the studio recreate the location of a harsh, swampy planet called Dagobah, which was the exile location of Yoda in “The Empire Strikes Back.”

‘May the fourth be with you’

The special episode will air on May 1, which coincides with the observance of Star Wars Day on the fourth of May, as in “May the fourth be with you.”

“The Big Bang Theory” co-creator Chuck Lorre commented on the special show, “We were approached by the Lucasfilm people to do something to celebrate Star Wars Day, which was nice.”
